I decided to “borrow” some pictures of the storm from the Tribune website. These are all photos sent in by people so I think I can post them here. I spent the last hour going through them so you don’t have to!

This Mercedes was stranded after the driver couldn’t navigate through 18 inches of water.

This three got three cars.

Someone took a picture of an interesting cloud formation on their drive home. That’s the John Hancock building to the far right.

This building had its roof torn off and it came crashing down right near the entrance.

Yeah, wind did this.

This unlucky car was actually hit by flying roof debris.

This damage of a downed street light was just down the street from where we had dinner.

These next two photos were on the same street where we had dinner. In the first one the tree took out two cars.
